CAA Preferred Fixed-Base Operator (FBO)

CAA collects fuel data from its members and maintains a current data base
of their combined fuel needs. This information is used to determine where a
FBO is needed for the fuel program. Based upon our needs, we ask our members
that use this airport to contact one or more FBO’s. The members tell the FBO’s
about the CAA Fuel Program and ask them to contact us for a complete description
of the program.

Quality FBO’s: It is not easy to be named a "CAA Preferred FBO". Our
first consideration is excellence of service. Price is secondary. When you see
one of our plaques on a FBO wall, you will know that this FBO has given us a
good reliable service at a fair price. CAA is not in the fuel business and therefore
makes not a penny from the sale of fuel. We want our purchase volumes to more
than make up for our discounted prices.

Lowest Price: There are many fuel programs available today. Some are
only available to air ambulance, cargo, aircraft without pax, or other restrictions.
CAA’s fuel program is available to all Part 91 corporate operators with or without
pax. CAA sees no reason to include a FBO in its program if its members can purchase
fuel at the FBO at a lower price by using another fuel program. In order for
a FBO to be considered for our program, their bid must reflect the lowest price
available to our members at the time of our agreement. Our current fuel program
consists of three tiers: 200-1000 gals, 1001-2000 gals, and 2001+ gals. We have
recently begun to accept bids for 2000+ gallons.

CAA Members make the final choice: When a FBO wishes to be considered
for our program, they submit an application. All CAA pricing is based upon a
"cost-plus" contract. The FBO's bid information is then submitted
to the CAA members via e-mail for their decision. The members decide weather
to accept or reject all bids by their votes. The FBO must receive a minimum
of 30 net YES votes to be named a CAA PREFERRED FBO. The FBO agrees to update
prices as they occur. CAA
publishes these prices daily Sun-Fri. All of CAA's prices contain all taxes
and fees.

Easy to use: All CAA aircraft are issued an ID card that is to be shown
to the FBO in order to get the CAA fuel price. No calls, faxes, telexes, or
anything else, are required. CAA Members have access to current prices on the
CAA web site (www.corpaa.org). The fuel is purchased using the operator’s normal
method of payment.

CAA brings the world’s finest corporate flight departments to its FBO’s and
other vendors. Hand in hand, CAA and its vendors represent a partnership of
shared excellence, working together to enhance the well being of both. CAA may
not be for everyone, in fact it is restricted to corporate flight departments-but
everyone will know they can expect fine service and fair prices when they see
our plaque.
